Can't setup Pixma MG5720 printer - need drivers for Windows 8.1

All I get is a searching screen from disk and site.  Forever. 2nd circle of hell.  What can I do? Help. Desperately seeking guidance to find and download drivers and software for printer.

 

My computer is a 64-bit operating system, x 64-based processor, touchscreen, all in one, Windows 8.1

 

On another note, this MG5720 is replacing a Pixma MX432.  Those drivers, etc are still loaded.  Is that a/THE problem?  Do I have to remove all the canon files, incl. navigator, solutions, help, etc..  prior to the new setup?   I have tried to remove them post disconnect, but it looks like I will have to reconnect the old one to do so.  Is that right? Do I need to bother?

I have a mx922 canon pixma printer and I got a error message while replacing my ink cartridges.

The error I got will not allow me to print.  I have followed the manual to reset this error but I've had no luck.  I finally bought new Canon ink cartridges from Staples and replaced those needing replacing but still I can't print.  HELP!!

MG7520 - Printing Envelopes

I have an MG7520 and I'm trying to print directly onto A7 (5.25x7.25) envelopes. 

 

The printer jams when it pulls the envelope from tray 1 and I can't figure out how to make it pull from Tray 2 (not sure that would even help). 

 

Is this printer just not capable of printing envelopes? (It has an envelope setting on it, so that would seem confusing).

Can't get Mx492 to print from a gateway laptop but it will print from my cell and tablet.

Everything is set up, installed, ready to go for the Canon MX492.  I can print from the tablet and my phone but when I try and print from the laptop I get a printer error.  I'm not sure what to do from here.  Any ideas?

scanner not recognized on Windows 10

I just purchase a new Windows 10 computer and added my Cannon MP216n printer software and update from website

at first everything worked and now the cannon toolbox can not find Scanner.  My windows 8 computer on the same WiFi finds it and works fine.  I do not know why it stopped working.  I have deleted the printer and reinstalled but the same result. 

Any suggestions?

Can you photocopy on the Canon Pixma MG2500 using only the color cartridge as the black one is empty

My computer has just run out of black ink and I can set the printing settings so it only uses color ink to print but can I also do this to be able to photocopy? Or will I have to scan to the computer and then print it out?

My scanner wouldn't scan it always say error and some reasons but I checked I am connected to the printer so I dont know why I couldnt print.

My new Pixma 6821 printer doesn't auto start when I send something to the printer.  I'm running Win 10 with a direct USB connection.

The printer prints fine after I turn it on.

Cannon Pixma MG3220 printer/copier/scanner issue

My Cannon Pixma MG 3220 scanner stopped working. I am not able to use the scanner directly on the printer or through my MackBook Pro. I have erased the installed printer and re-installed it, but with no success in resulution of the scanner issue. Whenever I try to use scanner, a message pops up notifing me that the USB cable is not connected and/or the printer is turned off. That is not the case, I have checked both connections and it was working when I printed something. In additon, now, when I open sistem preferences, I see two Cannon items, one for printer, one for scanner. Even though I have chosen both to install, only printer works. I am also able to make copies. 

 

Can someone help please?

Can't scan to mx892 after windows 10 upgrade.

I have upgraded to windows 10 and I am using a wireless connection. printing is not a problem but I am unable to scan from the printer. I get the error message on my PC that tells m to reinstall the software. I have tried the solution mentioned in this forum to uncheck "let windows manage the default printer" and then reinstall the drivers/software. This doesn't work and I also have no options to initiate the scan from my PC. It finds my printer on the wireless network but the scan doesn't work. I haven't tried connecting to a USB port directly but even if that worked its not what I would want to do. My windows version is 1511 (build 10586.218

 

 

PS - Duh, I installed the drivers but not the software. When I installed M navigator from the software link on the spport page I was able to scan.

Is there a way to stop MP Navigator constantly calibrating my LiDE 90 on its own initiative?

I mostly scan simple black and white documents. Often, I can never predict exactly when, MP Navigator decides to do an uncommanded calibration. This slows me down and always at the wrong time. When I need to calibrate, I know how to do it. Why is MP Navigator calibrating when I don't ask for it?

Pixma MG6120 Stopped Working

My printer/copier/scanner running on Windows 10 has stopped working. When I turn the equipmemnt on, the LED screen immediately shows Error 6000. "Printer error has occurred..." I have turned the printer off and on with no success. Manual suggestions don't help. I can't check ink tanks because their carrier will not move into view. I have been using Window 10 for five months with no problem. I recently downloaded and installed the newest driver. The Canon problem diagnosis software does not detect a printer. The USB connector cable appears to be intact.  Any ideas?

I am a college student I got a MG 2520 a few months ago specifically so that I could print, copy AND scan stuff for school. I could scan the first couple times i needed to but the last few times I've tried to scan it wont let me The scan button in my Image garden is there but it wont let me actually click it to scan its grey like its not an option, though I have scanned before. I bought this printer specifically because it could scan and now I cant. I really need this resolved its extremely frustrating that it just refuses to scan when I have personally scanned things before. I have school all summer as well as in the fall and need to be able to scan things.

PIXMA MX922 will not feed paper. Says I am out of paper but lower tray is full.

My PIXMA MX922 will not feed paper.  It keeps saying I am out of paper, but the lower tray is full.  Tried everything I can think of and it still will not feed.  Any suggestions..
