Canon MX922 - Scanner Keeps Jamming

Hello,

 

The scanner keeps jamming near where the paper is inserted into the top of the scanner.  It can handle one sheet at a time but continues to jam if we put more than one sheet in it (so we've been having to lay each sheet on the glass to scan).  Any suggestions?

Suddenly getting Code:5,202,54 when trying to use Navigator MP EX4.0

I have been using Navigator MP EX4.0 with a PIXMA MG5220 multifunction printer successfully for a long time but now am suddenly getting Code:5,202,54 and the scan fails.  I have done all that I can think of to do, have turned the printer off/on, reboted the computer and uninstalled/reinstalled the utility (several times) with no success.  There is apparently no longer live Tech Support from Canon for my product (which I have to admit does bother me somewhat) and this forum seems to be my only means of support.  I use the scanner function a lot and depend on it, so I hope that someone here can help me solve this problem.  Any assistance would most certainly be appreciated!

Pixma 432 and Mojave set up

Hello-  My Pixma 432 Ink Jet will not print from my MAC that is upgraded to Mojave.  I downloaded the Canon IJ Network Tool Ver.4.7.1(Mac) for Mojave and can find the printer, but when I go to the MAC settings to add the printer, I don't see the printer there. I had read on a different post to try to down load the High Sierra drivers as there are no Mojave drivers, but that didn't work either.  Any thoughts?  (An old MAC on High Sierra is working just fine, so not a network connection issue.)

MG5422 Not printing text from Word 10

My MG5422 will print the letterhead but not the text of a letter I send it from my laptop.  If I email the letter to myself and click print without going through Word it prints everything.  If I download it to Word it will, again, only print the letterhead.

MG7720 CD/DVD Printing Issue

My MG7720 printed perfectly on CDs and DVDs up until a couple weeks ago, when streaks started appearing anytime I printed black text onto a disc, like the ink is simply missing in certain spots. The streaks are usually in the same place on different prints. When I print a full color image on a disc, sometimes the print will look okay at the top of the disc, but certain colors will disappear further down the disc. Sometimes the entire disc is printed with a specific color (or colors) missing completely. As of right now, when I print simple black text on a disc, it's all there, but very, very light, like there is only a very small amount of ink being applied to the disc. The issues occur on multiple brands of inkjet printable discs. The brand of disc does not seem to make a difference. I am not seeing any of these issues when I print onto paper. Paper prints look exactly like they are supposed to, with no streaks and no missing colors. 

 

The cartridges all have ink and are working fine. I have tried several cleaning cycles, an automatic head alignment, a manual head alignment, and I have removed and reseated the print head. I also checked the encoder strip and it does not appear to need cleaning. At the moment, I have no idea what else I can try to fix this, if anything.

 

Here's a disc with simple black text. The text is very, very light, but should be dark black.

And here is a full-color print. The black ink just stops halfway down the disc. And the colors on the top half are not correct.

The colors on the disc above should be similar to the colors on the paper insert below, which was printed on the same printer, just before I printed the disc image.

MG5620 PGBK print only distorted

Hi!  I have a Canon MG5620 printer that started printing distorted in PGBK only.  The vertical lines print as vertical elipses between the second horizontal line at the bottom and the top of the graph display on the "nozzle test" page.  My problem is, can this be fixed or is it time to shop for a new printer.  I can post the print if required.  Thanks for the guidance!

hello there!

 

When I was trying to print my documents, words are fading out and so I thought that there is very little ink left. So, I changed the ink cartidge which was new. However, after trying quite a few times, the words shown on my documents are still fading out. 

Thus, I tried to follow some online guides, e.g. switching off and then on my printer and stuffs, but it is still NOT working! Please help!

ERROR B200 >> PRINTHEAD ERROR

 

In my case on MG 5150.

 

When the error B200 first appeared i followed the advice to buy new cartridges. Bought a bundle of 5X5 cartridges so I spent some money on the MG5150 initially.

Changed cartridges and still ERROR B200. (B 200 )

 

Still with some hope I followed the Cleaning instruction I found on YouTube. Still confident that I would resolve the issue I was  careful and precise then I did the cleaning.

And the printer worked. Used It one day and then "ERROR B200" again!

Now I was getting suspicious. New cartridges . Cleaning successful, printer worked for two days and printed more then 20 A4 pages in color both text and photos. 

Because I've bought 15 cartridges I was persistent to fix the problem. I followed every guide to a solution that I could find. With NO luck.

CANON does not care about this problem. CANON offers no help and solution.

 

I made the only decision that made sense. I promised my self to NEVER EVER buy a CANON product again in my life. I'm sorry to inform you who are searching for an answer to the ERROR B200 on CANON printers that there is no answer and CANON will not give an answer. So you can only do one thing and that is to promise yourself to never buy a CANON product again. It's the only thing you can do.

PIXMA MG5620 PGBK Cartridge

I have completed all the cleaning maintenance, but my PGBK Cartridge is printing blurred. Any thoughts as to why? It's almost like it's printing double very close together making it blurry.  Thanks.

Canon MG6200 wont scan from operational panel.

Since upgrading to Windows 10, I can no longer scan from the operation panel on my printer (MG6220). It keeps saying "Processing... Please wait momentarily" and does nothing beyond that. It will only scan from the Canon MP Navigator EX 5.0.

I already tried to re-install the drives, disconnect the USB that goes from the printer to the laptop, power off the printer and re-start my laptop.

I printed a few photos the other day, and now i only have an option for 4x6 on my iphone app.

I restared the printer and shut the app down. 

How can i get the app to allow me to chose full size paper???

MG6250 suddenly not working on Mac OS 10.14 (Mojave)

My MG6250 is 5 years old and I am suddenly being told by the CANON support page that it is no longer supported for OS 10.14 (Mojave) despite the printer having worked perfectly on MOJAVE ever since the new OS was introduced (september 2018?)

Surely CANON don't intend for me to buy a new printer (which is afterall not that old).

 

Can anyone give a tip on how I get round this (apart from installing an older OS version)?

Unable to see Canon IJ XPS Preview

Hi,

 

I have bought a Maxify MB2100 and when I print I am finding that the page is being printed around 5mm too low.  I use my printer for my home business and print onto labelled paper for dispatch notes.  When it is printing the dispatch note it is cutting off part of my details on the label part of the paper.  I have searched everywhere to find out how to fix it and believe that if I can get into the XPS preview then I will be able to move the document up.  I have installed the XPS driver but I am still unable to see anything more than the basic IJ preview.  Can anyone let me know if it is possible to see the XPS preview with the printer I have bought? 

 

Please let me know if you need more information.  There is no way to adjust the design of the dispatch notes, I have already gone down that route.

I have followed all the possible steps to resolve the error message like resetting the printer, checking for paper jams, cleaning the inside of the printer with a clean cloth, etc. but the problem persists.  Is there anything else that can be done, short of dismantling the printer, which I don't know how to do?  Would very much appreciate your help.  Thanks.


MX492 Will NOT WiFi Scan with IJ Scan Utility

We are using a MX492 and for printing on the local home WiFi network it works fine. The PC on the network sees it and prints documents. For scanning we are NOT able to use the IJ Scan Utility because the IJ Scan Utility gives us an error that there is a connection problem - no USB connections. We are able to scan with the MX492 using the Windows 10 Scan function. The scanner will correctly scan and save the PDF to the PC Pictures folder thus we know that the PC "sees" the scanner and can use it. We need advice on how to use the IJ Scan Utility for scanning. Thank you. 

Pixma G2010 - Custom form is not available in the print menu

Guys,

I've recently bought Canon Pixma G2010 multifunctional Printer. I want to print on custom size papers. Eventhough I've created custom form and saved in the print server properties, the custom size is not listing in the print menu. I'm using Windows 10. Please help

Installed new dell windows 10 computer. Updated MG3220 driver.  When attempting to print, printer cycles through print count, and eventually dies without printing anythng.  Help!

why does my canon ip8720 restart print job halfway through

My Printer is connected via usb cable to a Windows 10 machine.  Invariably when I print multiple page documents (primarily PDF), the printer will 'choke' on one page, doing a partial print, spit the page out, and then start the print job over from the beginning.  Obviously, this waste of paper and ink is more than annoying. I just went through this with a 12 page document and the job restarted twice. I finally had to cancel the queue and print one page at a time.  Any suggestions?

MX492 printing thick solid lines

My MX492 suddenly started printing thick solid black lines on every line. I have two columns of solid black. It printed fine yesterday. How can I find the problem and fix it?
